Ghee Butter
I tried using ghee butter for a month. In conclusion, I didn’t feel a big difference compared to regular butter. I think I’ll need to test it a bit more to figure it out. The difference from butter is that ghee butter has a stronger animal fat smell when melted.
Chicken Tenderloin
It’s a cost-effective meat and snack. It feels like I’ve gained more muscle mass. If red meat like beef helps maintain muscle, maybe white meat like chicken helps build it.
I tried various carnivore snacks. I bought and tasted different options like beef jerky, beef sticks, and beef bars, and in the end, beef jerky was the best. Beef sticks and beef bars always have garlic powder or celery powder added, and they had that same distinct sour taste. To me, that was a huge disappointment. Therefore, I think the best snack is beef jerky with no seasonings added at all. However, it’s too expensive. So this month, I mostly relied on fruit or Nurungji (scorched rice)for snacks. It’s not a strict carnivore diet, but it’s way healthier than eating processed modern snacks.

February 2025 Summary:
Ghee butter was great. I still don’t feel a huge difference compared to regular butter, but ghee butter was far better than cooking oil by an incomparable margin. How do I judge that? I feel a big difference during workouts. With ground meat, it seems like I need to be cautious about the fat content and expiration date. After trying a split of lunch/dinner and breakfast/dinner diets for five months for each, I’ve concluded that the lunch/dinner diet suits me better. Starting next month, I’ll likely stick with the lunch/dinner diet again.

- Notes: My fingertips have been tingling and feeling prickly for over a week, as if I’ve been touching something cold. What could be the cause? Is it the tea I’ve been drinking lately? The dish detergent? Or is it just because the air is dry in winter? The cause of the tingling sensation in my fingertips was baking soda. I realized this when I noticed that an area on my palm, where the skin normally wouldn’t peel, suddenly started peeling after doing the dishes. I should always wear rubber gloves when washing dishes with baking soda. Additionally, I didn't exercise today. From now on, I will have to work out in the morning on Sundays. Had a snow fight around midnight.
